Personalized Note Cards

Hello everyone! Hope you all enjoyed (or are still currently enjoying) a restful holiday break with family and friends. I am back from my celebrating with my in-laws in Detroit and family in Kalamazoo, and feeling SOOO thankful for a few extra days off to get my life organized before it's back to work full-time at my two jobs :)

And speaking of thanks...I recently created these luxurious felt-textured folded cards that will be used as thank you notes. The cards were designed with a classic script monogram on the front, and envelopes were printed to match.

Our Season's Greetings

I was pretty busy with work a few weeks ago and debated whether I would make or buy this year's Christmas cards. Since I make everything from scratch for all of my clients, I just couldn't bring myself to order pre-designed cards.

So, I designed these festive flat square cards and to keep things simple, I ordered them through Zazzle...along with coordinating address labels and postage stamps. They shipped so quickly, and I'm excited about how they turned out!

These candy stripe cards, stamps and labels can be customized and purchased here.

Baby Shower Invitations

I worked with the mommy-to-be's sister Angie to create these aqua blue, lime green and chocolate brown baby shower invitations. Beyond the colors, my favorite element is the little whale on the envelope that announces "it's a boy!".

Inspiration for the design came from the baby's nautical Migi Splash bedding. The nursery walls will be painted with a coordinating argyle pattern.

Introducing Thomas Jackman

I recently had the honor of creating baby announcements to help Tom, Annie and Amelia welcome the newest member of their family ~ Thomas Jackman.

A photo of Thomas' tiny feet next to his big sister Amelia's is featured on the front of the panel announcement with "our home has grown by two feet". The aqua blue, sage and olive green design includes modern branch accents that are symbolic of growth.

The reverse side of the card showcases Thomas and his birth stats

Teresa & Mike : Wedding Day Accents

The fun colorful movie theme that began with their save the dates and invitations continued throughout all of the details of Teresa and Mike's big day. For their wedding day paper items, the logo that they provided continued to be a feature, and fuchsia was also brought into the color scheme as an accent.

Nicole & Matt : Wedding Day Accents

These are a few wedding day stationery items that I created for Nicole and Matt's wedding, which is today! These were all designed to coordinate with their chartreuse green and brown grape leaf invitations.
Ceremony booklet programs with a monogram seal on the front. Nicole added a ribbon accent to the side.
Menu panels and flat escort cards. Nicole did the handwritten calligraphy for the cards and is planning to display them in wine corks.
Layered table cards feature wine names instead of numbers
Folded thank you cards with their married monogram on the front

Andrea & Jordan : Thank You Cards

Folded linen thank you cards that I created for Andrea and Jordan's wedding.

Angela & Jeremiah : Wedding Day Accents

I designed an coppery-orange seating poster and tented table number cards with fall foliage and scrolling swirls for Angela and Jeremiah's wedding, which is today! Congrats you two!

Lisa & Matthew : Wedding Day Accents

Congrats to Lisa and Matthew...their wedding was today, and they're probably dancing the night away right now :) I designed a few wedding day items for them that coordinated with their black and white metallic scroll invitations.
Tri-fold wedding ceremony programs
Menu panels for the adults...
and menu panels for the kids! I came across the dancing chickens graphic and had to use it :) These menus were printed on a green linen cardstock.
Tented table cards. Instead of table numbers, Lisa and Matt provided words with special significance.
Escort cards ~ some of which included a symbol indicating vegetarian or kids meal
And just for fun...here's my baby Bosco helping me set up for the shoot :)

Nicole & Matt : Wedding Invitations

Nicole and her mother Michele are artists, and I worked with them both to create these gorgeous chartreuse green and chocolate brown vineyard wedding invitations. The grape leave illustrations were perfect to incorporate as their wedding reception will be held at Veritas Vineyard in Afton, Virginia. They also provide a special personal touch because they were all hand-drawn by Nicole's mother. She drew them, scanned them in and sent them to me through email so that I could incorporate.
A layered monogram band wrap is removed to open the custom chocolate brown pocketfold that encloses the invitation and inserts.
The ink throughout this set is raised, which provides some dimension and texture.
Information card for the wedding reception and Sunday farewell brunch.

Folded pink framed placecards for the head table

Ivory metallic thank you signs that Joanna and Tom held up in the photobooth
I also created this sheet of father / daughter dance lyrics that Joanna framed and gave as a gift to her parents.
