Cindy & Patrick : Wedding Day Accents

I had the pleasure of standing up in one of my best friend's weddings this weekend. It was a perfect wedding day for Cindy and Patrick, and I was thrilled to be a part of it!
I created a few stationery items for their wedding day that coordinated with their invitations and added some personal style and color to their event.
Patrick emailed me about a program note that explained the significance of their honey reception favors. His email cracked me up: "what if we throw in a small little blurb about the honey at the bottom. Or do you think that's a terrible stupid idea? Maybe even a small, cute little bee graphic? Or have I just lost it at this point." haha! I loved the idea, and love how it turned out!
Their married name is Stiff...this had to be done!
Placecards
Table number signs, which were placed in silver frames on each table.
The gobo light and their beautiful yummy cake!

Jessica & Joseph : Wedding Invitations

Jessica and Joseph are planning a sophisticated wedding day in Downtown Detroit. We discussed a few different format options for the invitations and Jessica decided to move forward with a panel invitation that is wrapped with a wide champagne monogram band.
The invitation features their names in a formal script and a scrolling border design in shades of ivory, pale pink and black. The champagne metallic monogram band has their monogram (two Js) on the front side and "a celebration of love" on the opposite side that holds the insert cards.
Reception, response postcard, accommodations and custom map inserts were created to assist guests who will be traveling in for the wedding.

Carolyn & Todd : Wedding Day Accents

Carolyn and Todd are soon to be wed in Sanibel Island, Florida. I created some paper items for their wedding day that have a clean white and blue beachy vibe.
I designed the escort cards with palm tree and starfish illustrations that were used to distinguish the dinner choices.
Photo table numbers feature their very handsome dog! These were done in sepia for a more neutral look.
Carolyn shared a photo of a monogram decal that will be displayed on a mirror by the dance floor. I replicated the style and made this a focal point of the guest book sign, menu cards and signature drink sign designs.

Andrea & Alejandro : Wedding Invitations

Andrea and Ale' knew right away that they wanted to incorporate a zen-like photo with a vellum overlay as their wedding invitation.
They chose a beautiful photo with water flowing with rocks. The invitation itself was designed on an ecru vellum overlay that was affixed to the layered invitation with a navy satin ribbon.
With many wedding guests traveling in from out of town, they wanted an accommodations and location map card created. These ivory and pale blue-gray cards were wrapped with the response card / envelope in a navy shimmer paper wrap.
