Kristin & Carl : Wedding Invitations

Kristin and Carl's upcoming Detroit wedding will be a formal black tie event with a vintage feel and nontraditional details.  Kristin had a lot of unique ideas for their wedding stationery, including a Detroit city skyline on the invitations, striped pattern on the envelope liners, and a beautiful dramatic color scheme of black and white with deep eggplant purple accents.  I had a lot of fun developing this custom design, and I am in love with the finished product!

Theresa & Ari : Wedding Day Accents

 







For Theresa and Ari's wedding day, I designed ceremony programs, and created escort cards, table numbers and signage to coordinate with their wedding invitations.   We used the striped paper wraps as an accent on the table number cards and used different colored tented backings on the escort cards to signify their guests' dinner selections.

Before the Big Day : Rehearsal Dinner Invitations

Colette & Andrew : Wedding Invitations

Invitation style:
Simple and classic layers of neutral metallics - white, ivory and beige












Believe it or not, I have never worked with a completely neutral color palette!  I was really excited to combine and layer different shades of soft coordinating neutrals for Colette and Andrew's wedding invitations.  The square format adds a little contemporary flair to a more traditional design, and the paisley pattern is subtle but luxe...the perfect accent for these invitations.

Theresa & Ari : Wedding Invitations

Invitation inspiration:
simple, organic elegant style in green, slate gray, and soft white colors




Theresa's invitations are simple and elegant with accents of an apple green and lots of texture.  The text was thermography printed, and an illustration of pussy willows was embossed and foil stamped in an ivory pearl finish on the soft white linen textured stock.  A striped paper wrap with a gray stripe was used to hold the enclosure cards together.  A similar striped ribbon will also accent the wedding bouquets and cake at their wedding.  

  

Wine Themed Bridal Shower : Etsy

I recently customized two of my popular wine-themed designs as a bridal shower invitation and coordinating information card. The rich burgundy background of the wine label inspired information card, which was originally a wedding save the date, really makes the red wine stain rings on the invitation pop!  I just love how these two designs look together!

Abby & Justin : Wedding Accents

For Abby and Justin's destination wedding, I created layered itinerary cards for guest welcome bags that detailed all of the wedding weekend events.  I also designed folded thank you notes featuring a wedding photo.  We used the same ivory, coral and gold colors and starfish theme on these to coordinate with their invitations.

30th Birthday Invitations

When I was designing Detroit baseball wedding invitations, I realized that I never posted a 30th birthday invitation with the same Detroit Tigers theme. They were designed with my very first client, Kristin, for her husband's 30th birthday - a surprise party at Comerica Park! I waited to post them until after the event but then this guy came along and distracted me!

 

The invitation is a layered panel style designed in vintage white, orange and navy colors.  The bottom of the invite reads "Hey batter batter...no surprise birthday chatter!".

Envelopes were printed with addresses and custom 30th Birthday Postage Stamps were also designed to match.

Colette & Andrew : Save the Dates

Colette fell in love with these black and white movie poster save the date cards at my online store but she wanted a magnet format and with a customization to include an R for Romantic rating next to their wedding website.  Their custom-designed wedding invitations will be featured soon!
