Andrea & Jordan : Wedding Day Accents

Oh my goodness, so behind on blogging! Before heading out of town this weekend, I wanted to share Andrea and Jordan's wedding day extras. These are a perfect complement to their sophisticated navy floral invitations.
Booklet style ceremony programs
Unity and memory candle wraps
Seating poster with table assignments for the reception
A coordinating monogram for their photo booth pictures.
Congratulations to Andrea and Jordan...their wedding is this Saturday!

Jessica & Joseph : Wedding Day Accents

Jessica was interested in a few paper items for the wedding day that coordinated with her elegant invitation set. I created a champagne booklet style ceremony program and escort cards for the reception. She DIY'd menu cards in a matching champagne cardstock that we supplied.

Manchester Rehearsal Dinner Invitations

The elements I wanted to bring together for Kate and Mike's rehearsal dinner invitations included their green and navy wedding colors, a little striping detail and a small town theme. Specifically, a small town Manchester, Michigan theme - where the wedding and rehearsal dinner will be held.
In order to translate the theme, I transformed a photo of downtown Manchester into a solid green sketch, and this immediately became a focal point of the design. To balance the sketch, I highlighted their names in a green striped font that is accented with ornaments that I thought resembled the script font used on their wedding invitations.
Metallic green mailing envelopes were addressed in navy to match, and further customized with a navy Manchester postage stamp.

Sarah & Eric : Wedding Invitations

Sarah knew that she wanted her ivory, pink and chocolate brown pocketfold invitatons to be simple, classic and elegant with a monogram feature. After designing her save the date cards, I was excited to extend the design style to the invitations.
The invitation features Sarah and Eric's monogram in a rounded frame that repeats throughout the invitation suite, layered with scrolling lines that coordinate with the script font used throughout.
Held within the side pocket is a Details card with reception and accommodations information, as well as the reply card and envelope.
The reply card stands out in the pocket with its accompanying pink reply envelope, personalized with custom addressing and a chocolate brown custom RSVP stamp.
The invitation is enclosed in a rich chocolate brown pocketfold, wrapped with an ivory ribbon and a layered seal with a modified version of their monogram.
Ivory mailing envelopes were also addressed and a custom monogram stamp completes the look.

Lisa & Matthew : Wedding Invitations

Lisa wanted a striking black and white invitation design. She was initially drawn to an invitation in my portfolio that had a scroll graphic element, but mentioned she really liked damask patterns. After a few damask proofs and so-so reactions, I sent this elegant scroll pattern and Lisa was thrilled with the design!
Her panel invitations were printed on a gorgeous soft white shimmer cardstock, and mounted on a metallic black cardstock. The paper is so nice and substantial, and the black backing layer really makes the design pop.
The invitation was packaged in a black envelope with a wrap-around address label and custom monogram stamp. Wraps were also created to hold the inserts together and personlaized with guest names - an alternative to an inner guest envelope.
A reception card, directions card with a location map, response card and envelope were assembled within the wrap.
The response envelope featured an oval scroll frame, and I designed this black response stamp for some additional color contrast within the inserts bundle.

Carolyn & Todd : Thank You Cards

These lovelies were created for Carolyn and Todd to send as their wedding thank you cards. I combined their beautiful wedding photo by Jason Angelini Photography with a pale aqua blue and a delicate floral scroll pattern.
Congrats to Carolyn and Todd!

Joanna & Thomas : Wedding Invitations

Joanna and I discussed a few different concepts for her blush pink, black and charcoal gray panel invitations, and just as I was about to get started, she shared a fantastic inspiration idea: her china!
"Lace" by Vera Wang is stunning. I was inspired to capture the elegance and style of the lace border pattern within her invitation design. Joanna also mentioned that she wanted her invitations to reflect the fun celebration they have planned, and this was translated through the bold floral design and calligraphic script used throughout.
The invitation panel is layered with a graphite metallic band, which also functions to hold the inserts together with the invitation, and a black shimmer cardstock.
The response card, response envelopes with framed address and blush pink response stamps.
Accommodations card
Metallic graphite mailing envelopes feature the floral design, which wraps around to the return address on the back flap. Custom stamps were designed to coordinate with the pattern and complete the look of this beautiful suite.

Michele's 50th Birthday Invitations

Ever since I designed Michele's save the dates, I have been so excited about creating her glamorous film fest-inspired 50th birthday invitations. I again worked with her daughter, Heather, who is helping to coordinate this fabulous event!

The invitation itself was designed to look like a film festival poster. I incorporated rich shades of bronze and gold, along with a glam script font and a film reel that includes photos of the birthday girl.

Response postcards were designed to look like event tickets, complete with a tear-off ticket stubs that the "VIP Guests" will retain.

The accommodations card, listing various hotel options in near the Capitol Event Theatres venue in Toronto, completes this set. Heather mailed these invitations in a white poster mailing tube with gold and bronze film reel mailing labels that Plush Paper created.
