Amy's Save The Dates

Amy emailed me a couple weeks ago to see if I could create a Save The Date insert that would be included with her Christmas cards and hold her Save The Date magnet.

She's having her wedding ceremony and reception in Downtown Detroit, and for her wedding invitations we're incorporating vibrant fuchsia, orange and green wedding colors with a Detroit skyline. The Save The Date insert was designed to provide guests with a first glimpse of the look, in addition to the basic wedding details and address for their wedding website. The magnet will be temporarily affixed over the information on the left. When the magnet's removed, the insert will function as a Save The Date card.

UPDATE: Here is the save the date card and magnet, shown as it would look with and without the magnet. Thanks to Amy for supplying the images!

Jill's Holiday Invitations

Jill was interested in sending something special for her annual holiday party. She wanted to incorporate red, black and white as well as a damask pattern. I found this swirling damask pattern, and used it to frame a modern elegant mix of lowercase serif and script invitation fonts. The metallic white panel invitation was layered with black and metallic red cardstocks and envelopes were printed with guest and return addresses to complete the invitation set.

Josh & Birta : Wedding Day Accents

I recently designed Josh and Birta's wedding invitation envelopes to match their modern white, silver and charcoal invitations. Carrying the same color scheme and look, I created square table number cards and a seating chart poster to be displayed at their wedding reception. They both feature a simple monogram with overlapping circles graphic.

Christmas Z-Cards

This is the Christmas card I created for my husband and I to send this holiday season. The aqua, olive and red snowflakes and holiday well wishes have a vintage look, and I chose to print across a modern z-card in metallic ecru. Addresses are printed in a coordinated font on the olive envelopes. Now I just need to purchase the Bette Davis/Legends of Hollywood stamps to complete the look!
